The City's adopted biennial budget for 2024-2026 recognized that:

• The City has largely recovered from the economic impacts of the pandemic.  However, inflationary pressures are increasing the City's costs of providing services to the community.

• The preservation of the City's infrastructure continues to be a high priority.  To support the City's priority in maintaining its aging infrastructure and assets, staff recommended the establishment of a Maintenance Reserve Fund.
