City Council Meetings
The City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the David W. Smith City Hall, 37101 Newark Boulevard, 1st Floor.
The public may attend City Council meetings in person in the City Council Chambers, watch on Cable Channel 26, or stream live on the cityâs YouTube Channel.

Planning Commission - Meetings, Agendas, and Minutes
The Planning Commission reviews and takes action on certain planning applications and makes recommendations to the City Council on land use issues. The Planning Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. Planning Commission meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, 37101 Newark Boulevard, 1st Floor, Newark.
Senior Advisory Committee - Agendas and Minutes
The Senior Advisory Committee researches senior issues within the City of Newark and identifies those needs which require assistance. The Committee makes recommendations to the City Council and provides information which they feel is pertinent to the well being of Newarkâs senior citizens. The Committee meets at 9:30 a.m. on a quarterly basis on the third Thursday at the Clark W. Redeker Newark Senior Center located at 7401 Enterprise Drive in Newark.

Newark City Council - Newark Board of Education Liaison Committee Agendas and Minutes
The Committee typically meets on the fourth Monday of January, April, June, and October to discuss issues of mutual concern. The Committee meets in the City Council Chambers at the David W. Smith City Hall, 37101 Newark Boulevard, in Newark.

Disaster Council - Agendas and Minutes
The Disaster Council meets, as needed, at the Newark Police Department Training Room, 37077 Newark Boulevard. The Disaster Council discusses disaster preparedness and coordination of emergency functions within the City.

Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) - Agendas and Minutes
The Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) provides recommendations to the City Council for the use of Community Development Block Grant funds and to the Community Development Director on priorities for the use of Housing funds. The CDAC usually meets in January at City Hall.

Measure GG Oversight Committee - Agendas and Minutes
The Transactions and Use Tax Oversight Committee will review the expenditures of the revenue from the Measure GG Transactions and Use tax. The Committee will report to the City Council on an annual basis. Meetings held annually.
