The Newark Community Center is centrally located near Highways 84 and 880 in the beautiful 17-acre Newark Community Park, ideal for groups of up to 150 for special occasions or business meetings. Our Center offers amenities such as an attractive, multi-terraced private outdoor patio (additional fee), spacious kitchen including 6 burner stove top/oven, microwave, sink & large refrigerator/freezer combo, tables/chairs set-up and take-down, and air conditioning.

The City of Newark maintains sports fields which when not utilized by the Recreation and Community Services Department, are available for use by the community on a permit basis.  The Sports Field Rules, Regulations and Guidelines establish the permit process, rules, regulations and use fees for the community
